Active career orientation work continues regarding the admission of applicants in 2025 to specialty 263 “Civil security” of the “Occupational safety and health” educational program. In mid-December 2024 assoc. professor Eugene Yascheritsin remote career guidance events were held with students of Konotop lyceum №9 (Konotop, Sumy region), Kharkiv lyceum №16, Glukhiv secondary school №1 (Glukhiv, Sumy region) and Birkiv Lyceum (Birky village, Kharkiv region).
In the Konotop lyceum №9, the event was held on December 12 with the active support and assistance of the director – Tetyana Andriivna Merenok, her deputy for educational work – Elena Petrivna Luzan and teacher Nataliya Vasilievna Yeresko, 8 students from the 11th grade took part in it.
In Kharkiv Lyceum №16, the event was held on December 13 with the active support and assistance of the deputy director for educational work, Olena Mykolaivna Makarenko, and 30 students from the 10th and 11th grades took part in it.
The event will be held on December 16 in Glukhivska school №1 with the support and assistance of school director Alla Mykolaivna Matosova and computer science teacher Ruslan Serhiyovych Bazyuk. 30 students from the 11th grade took part in the event.
The event was held on December 19 at the Birky Lyceum (Birky village, Kharkiv region) with the active support and assistance of the deputy director of educational work Lyubov Viktorivna Basova and the class teacher of the 10th grade Averchenko Svitlana Yuriivna. 14 students of grades 10-11 and two teachers took part in the event.
During all these events, each of which lasted almost 30 minutes, the speaker told the audience both about the features of last year’s admissions campaign to higher educational institutions in 2024, and about the already known basic rules for admission to study at the “bachelor’s” educational level in the future 2025. Separately, the speaker focused the attention of the event participants on the advantages of studying at NTU “KhPI”, in particular, on the specialty 263 “Civil security” of the educational program “Occupational safety and health” and the prospects for employment and career growth.
Speaking in front of the students, the speaker organically combined the demonstration of the presentation with information about the specialty with demonstration measurements with the devices of the educational laboratory of the “Occupational and Environmental Safety” department of some parameters of harmful and dangerous production factors, namely, temperature – with a Mestek IR01C pyrometer; illumination – with a Yu-116 lux meter; air movement speed – with the VTMETER VT-816V vane anemometer and the MC-13 cup, production noise – with the Robotron 00024 noise meter.
During the events, their participants asked questions, showing interest in various aspects of admission and study in higher educational institutions, in particular, in the specialty 263 “Civil security” of NTU “KhPI”, as well as in devices and measuring the levels of production factors.
