Oleksandr Ponomarenko, a student in the ICM-224a group, has once again demonstrated top-level performance. He’s added another major achievement to his list of world records and World Championship victories — the title of European champion! 💪
From August 2 to 9, the European Championships in Classic and Equipped Bench Press were held in Druskininkai, Lithuania. Oleksandr competed in the junior division (ages 18–23) in the weight class up to 66 kg.
In the classic bench press, Oleksandr took 5th place with a lift of 147.5 kg. And in the equipped bench press, with a lift of 195 kg, he took 1st place and became the European champion! 🥇🏆
