Research Profile
Her research focuses on the mathematical and computational modeling of deformation, damage accumulation, and fracture processes in materials and structural components. Particular emphasis is placed on the development and application of asymptotic and numerical methods for investigating mathematical models, stress–strain analysis, and the prediction of creep behavior and long-term structural strength under complex mechanical and thermal loading conditions.
Additional research interests include cloud-based computing, computer-aided analysis of material microstructure images, and the application of machine learning techniques and artificial neural networks to mathematical modeling problems.
Proposed PhD Research Areas
1Mathematical and Computational Modeling of the Long-Term Behavior of Materials and Structures. Development of mathematical models of creep, damage accumulation, and fracture; application and advancement of asymptotic and numerical methods for their analysis; development and improvement of finite element models, including those for structures made of functionally graded materials.
2Cloud-Based Methods for Numerical Modeling. Development of algorithms and software tools for performing computationally intensive finite element analyses using distributed and cloud computing resources.
3Intelligent Methods for Analysis and Mathematical Modeling. Application of image analysis techniques to investigate the microstructure and long-term behavior of materials, as well as artificial neural networks for solving boundary value problems.
