Greetings from Estonia!

My semester at the University of Tartu as part of the academic mobility program is almost over, and I want to share my impressions and some news.
I’ll start with the more formal part — studying. For the first time in my life, I had exams in a lecture hall, and I also took an oral exam in English. The most important task in the exam is to pass it.
So far, I’ve been successful and have already received credits for two subjects, with the rest coming in January.
Then I have two more exams and the defense of a group project, which we will most likely prepare after the New Year, because many people have gone home for the holidays!

While preparing for exams (in December), I was offered the opportunity to volunteer at a university event.

We, the students, assisted with the organization and implementation, which involved live broadcasting and recording the speakers.
This experience was very exciting for me: cameras, a film crew – it was a real film set.

All details of the event can be found at the following links:

Then came the exam period and Christmas. During the Christmas holidays, a Christmas tree appeared in our dormitory! And we celebrated with friends who also stayed in the city.
It was a Christmas dinner where we talked about traditions in different countries (and more).

I don’t have any plans for New Year’s Eve celebrations; it will be improvised, which I will share with you later.

Happy holidays!
