Remote career guidance work in October 2025

Remote career guidance work continues in the current academic year for admission to specialty J4 “Occupational health and safety” educational program “Occupational health and safety.” In October 2025, remote career guidance events were held with students from Kharkiv Lyceum №91, Zolochiv Lyceum №3 (Kharkiv region) and Reshetylivka Lyceum named after I.L. Oliinyk (Reshetylivka, Poltava region).

The first remote career guidance event in October was held on October 6, 2025, by associate professor Yascheritsin Eugene and professor Vaskovets Liudmyla with students from Kharkiv Lyceum №91. Read more…

Meeting of first-year students majoring in J4 “Occupational health and safety” educational and professional program of bachelor’s training with the head of the department and group supervisors

On October 29, 2025, another meeting was held between the head of the department Sergij Vambol, and the curator of the MIT-625 group, associate professor Natalia Tverdokhliebova, with first-year students majoring in J4 “Occupational health and safety”.

The purpose of the meeting was to summarize the interim results of training and discuss issues related to the adaptation of first-year students to the educational process at the university. During the first two months of study, students successfully completed the stage of familiarization with the peculiarities of the educational environment and the organization of the educational process. Remote career guidance work for the 2025-2026 academic year has begun!

This academic year, distance career guidance work regarding admission to the J4 “Occupational health and safety” specialty and the “Occupational health and safety” educational program began almost at the start of the school year, namely in September. The first remote career guidance event was held on September 22, 2025, by associate professor Eugene Yascheritsin with students from Kharkiv lyceum №143.
It was carried out with the active support and assistance of the school administration – Director Olena Oleksandrivna Levchenko, 11th grade homeroom teachers Valeria Oleksandrivna Kotenko, Natalia Oleksandrivna Goranina, Svitlana Mykolaivna Chuchumenko, and history teacher Inna Mykolaivna Sukhodubova. Freshman day

Freshman Day is a holiday dedicated to the beginning of a new stage in the lives of teenagers. And although it is not easy to organize a grand celebration in these difficult times, our indomitable Kharkiv has managed to do even that. This day showed how much Kharkiv and its universities love and care for their students. It is no coincidence that Kharkiv is a city of students! First-year students of NTU “KhPI” were also lucky enough to attend a festive concert. The Educational and Scientific Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport was represented by two first-year students: Anastasia Chernukha (MIT-625) from the Department of Occupational and Environmental Safety and Maksym Lugovyi (MIT-725) from the Department of Automobile and tractor engineering. Awarding of department employees

On September 23, 2025, a meeting of the staff of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport (ESI MET) was held. One of the main issues was the report by the director of our institute, professor V. Epifanov, on the work of the ESI MET over the previous year. On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the National technical university “Kharkiv polytechnic institute”, employees of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport who conscientiously performed their duties and achieved professional success were awarded honorary diplomas. First-year students classes in a bomb shelter

I, Anastasia Chernukha, a first-year student at the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute», group MIT-625, had the opportunity to gain an unforgettable experience – to conduct training in bomb shelters. This class gave students an understanding that our institute cares about its students, so that even in such difficult conditions, students have the opportunity to study in familiar surroundings. The educational process is organized so that in the event of an air raid alarm, classes are not interrupted and are held in a safe place.

News about our students studying under the Erasmus+ program: Tartu. Dormitory

My name is Kateryna Reshetnyak and I am a student in the MIT-622 group at the Department of OandES. This semester, i was fortunate enough to participate in the Erasmus student exchange program in Tartu, Estonia. Daria Romanova (MIT-624), a student from our department, is also studying on this program with me.
To be honest, this is my first experience of this kind, spending an entire semester studying and living in a dormitory abroad.
I have been here for three weeks now, and I would like to share my impressions of the living conditions. Read more…

Introductory meeting of faculty members with first-year master’s students

On September 9, 2025, a meeting was held between first-year full-time and part-time master’s students enrolled in the “Occupational health and safety” educational program and faculty members of the Occupational and Environmental Safety department.
The head of the department, Vambol Sergij, introduced the students and acquainted them with the guarantor of the second (master’s) level of the “Occupational health and safety” educational program, Mezentseva Iryna, the students’ curator, associate professor Kuzmenko Olena, and the engineer responsible for organizing the educational process at the department, Nataliia Valentynivna Ilyinska. Meeting with first-year students

On August 29, 2025, a traditional meeting of first-year students with the head of the department of Occupational and Environmental Safety, professor Sergij Vambol, and the curator of the 1st year, associate professor Natalia Tverdokhliebova, took place.
Students received their first important guidelines for their studies: they familiarized themselves with the structure of the university, the scientific and educational activities of the department, the internal regulations, and the requirements for higher education applicants.

Solemn meeting with bachelor’s graduates of the reduced form in 2025

On July 10, 2025, the Department of Occupational and environmental safety held a solemn meeting with graduates of the shortened form of education with the presentation of diplomas based on the results of their performance at the first (bachelor’s) level as a higher education student.

Our graduates previously received their education at the Municipal Health Care Institution “Kharkiv Regional Medical Professional College of the Kharkiv Regional Council” and the Professional College of the National University of Pharmacy.
