This year, the OandES department held the 16th International Internet Conference “Human Safety in Modern Conditions”. More than 71 abstracts of reports were submitted to the conference, with a total of 116 participants. Last year there were 92 participants. Of all the reports, there are four reports with scientists living in other countries – the USA, Slovakia, Jordan and China.
Getting an education is a responsible process of acquiring new knowledge and professional skills through personal experience. To achieve success and development, it is important to constantly improve your knowledge, use all opportunities and strive for more. An international internship for students of education opens up many opportunities for future professionals, expands the boundaries of professional self-realization and adds competitive advantages in the international labor market. This year, the traditional international conference International Symposium on Environment and Chemical Engineering took place, which was held in a hybrid format, both online and at Universitas Udayana Denpasar Bali, on December 19-20, 2024. The organizers of the conference this year chose the main topic: Creating a safe environment to improve the quality of life.
Among the current news of the department today is the scientific internship of the student of the MIT-M623 group Elizaveta Sotnikova at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic), within the framework of the ERASMUS+ KA1 program, coordinated by the European Commission. As part of her internship, a student of our department studies several disciplines, including Course syllabus KTO/DP-2024 and Course syllabus KTO/EXK-2024. Training for student trainees is conducted in English. Also, as part of her internship, Elizaveta Sotnikova visited the university’s scientific laboratories from various directions and got acquainted with the work of a modern 3D metal printer. Read more…
The new 2024/2025 academic year began with the continuation of career guidance work at the Department of Occupational and environmental safety. The formed new plan of career guidance activities will take into account the experience of previous work and is aimed at improving the results of work with applicants. In addition to traditional events (online meeting with school graduates, holding KAHUTs, participation in Open Doors Days), work with foreign applicants was also planned.

The training of students of the “Occupational Safety and Environmental Safety” department of NTU “KhPI” provides for the possibility of an internship for students of education under the international academic mobility program. Within the framework of the project on international academic mobility, namely, the semester academic exchange, the student of the MIT-622 group Lyashko Valeriya Serhiyivna was carried out an internship at the University named after Jan Dlugosha in Częstochowa (Poland) (UYAD) in the period from 03/01/2024 to 05/31/2024. This became possible thanks to the Cooperation Agreement between the University named after Jan Dlugosha in Częstochowa (Poland) (UYAD) and the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI”), within the framework of which the Annex to the Agreement Read more…
On June 7, 2024, a student of the MIT-M623 group, Yujun Liu (scientific supervisor, assoc. prof. Nataliia Yevtushenko) took part in the International competition of student research papers in the specialty 263 – Civil security, which was held on the basis of the Kremenchug National University named M.
