During the 2025/2026 academic year, a competition was held for the best final theses by graduate students enrolled in master’s degree programs in 2025.
It was held in accordance with Order №102 OD of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” dated March 17, 2026, “On Holding a Competition for the Best Final Qualification Projects by Higher Education Students Enrolled in Master’s Degree Programs for the Year 2025”
Results of the round:
– the final qualifying project by Viktoria Oleksandrivna Orlova, a student in the MIT-M624z group, took second place;
– the final qualifying project by Kateryna Oleksandrivna Kosenko, a student in the MIT-M624z group, took third place.

1st stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad 2025/2026 academic year.
The first stage of the competition was held in the following areas:
– Ecology,
– Occupational health and safety,
– Life safety,
– Civil protection,
– Fire safety.
Results of the round: By order of NTU «KhPI» № 194 OD dated 15/05/2026 winners were announced.

1st round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific papers in fields of knowledge and specialties in the 2025/2026 academic year.
The first round of the competition was held in the following areas:
– Fire safety,
– Technogenic safety,
– Civil security (Occupational health and safety),
– Civil security (Life safety),
– Civil security (Civil protection).
Results of the round: By order of NTU «KhPI» № 103 OD dated 17/03/2026 winners were announced.

Innovative thinking, responsibility, and professional interest were demonstrated by students of the Department of Occupational and Environmental Safety of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” by participating in the All-Ukrainian Festival of Innovations – 2025.

Second round of the International Student Research Paper Competition in the specialty 263 “Civil Security”.
Held on June 06, 2025 at the Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University.
Results of the round:
Students:
– Maksym Boichenko, student of group MIT-621 (Section: Technogenic and Industrial Safety), supervisor – associate professor Natalia Tverdokhliebova;
– Reshetnyak Kateryna, student of group MIT-622 (Section: Technogenic and Industrial Safety), supervisor – associate professor Nataliia Yevtushenko.
Two students were awarded third degree diplomas.
