This year, the OandES department held the 16th International Internet Conference “Human Safety in Modern Conditions”. More than 71 abstracts of reports were submitted to the conference, with a total of 116 participants. Last year there were 92 participants. Of all the reports, there are four reports with scientists living in other countries – the USA, Slovakia, Jordan and China.
This year, the traditional international conference International Symposium on Environment and Chemical Engineering took place, which was held in a hybrid format, both online and at Universitas Udayana Denpasar Bali, on December 19-20, 2024. The organizers of the conference this year chose the main topic: Creating a safe environment to improve the quality of life.

We invite you to participate in ХVІ International scientific and methodical conference «HUMAN SECURITY IN MODERN CONDITIONS», which is held annually on the basis of the department “Occupational and environmental safety of the NTU “KhPI””.
The conference is included in the list of scientific conferences of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine and is taken into account by the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. Read more…
On June 7, 2024, a student of the MIT-M623 group, Yujun Liu (scientific supervisor, assoc. prof. Nataliia Yevtushenko) took part in the International competition of student research papers in the specialty 263 – Civil security, which was held on the basis of the Kremenchug National University named M. The participation of the teachers of the «Occupational Safety and Environmental Safety» department of NTU «KhPI» in science festivals, in particular, in International Day of Light as part of the UNESCO World Initiative, has already become traditional. This year, the commemoration of this event took place on May 24 at the Poltava Polytechnic College of NTU «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute», which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year.
It is the close cooperation of the teaching staff of NTU «KhPI» with the students of the said college and schoolchildren of Poltava city that gives impetus to career guidance work and the formation of the future student community of NTU «KhPI». Read more…

Student science has always been one of the most powerful foundations for the formation of applicants as qualified specialists. Immersing in scientific experiments, students acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the topic of their research. In this they are helped by their academic supervisors of our department. A strong team of our scientific and pedagogical workers performed such work this year as well. It should be said that the scientific works presented by students for competitions are achievements not only of this academic year. Read more…
The prestigious annual international competition of student scientific works “Black Sea Science” was held this year with the participation of both Ukrainian and foreign institutions (http://isc.ontu.edu.ua/2024-2/).

Досить тривалий час Національний інститут морських справ (National Institute of Maritime Affairs, NIMA) кампус Університету Бахрії у Карачі, проводить дослідження в галузі екології і екологічної безпеки пов’язаними з суспільством та водними і морськими ресурсами. Основні результати цих досліджень публікуються у міжнародних наукових виданнях, в тому числі і Головному бюлетні морських досліджень і новин Пакистану (Pakistan’s Premier Bimonthly Maritime Research and News Bulletin), що виходить раз у дві місяця. At the end of 2023, the department reported to the directorate of the National Research Institute of MIT on the publishing activities of scientific and pedagogical workers. It should be noted that the authors’ collectives and individual teachers distinguished themselves by fruitful work in this direction.
So the author’s collectives: Raiko V., Yanchyk O., Semenov E., Ilyinska O. and Horbenko V., Kuzmenko O., Mezentseva I. reported on 1 textbook, 1 monograph and 3 training manuals, which is definitely the result of a lot of work. Read more…
