Review of reports of the 15th international scientific and methodological conference of NTU «KhPI» and the International EAS conference «Human safety in modern conditions»
On December 7-8, 2023, the department held the XV International Scientific and Methodological Conference and the EAS International Scientific Conference «Human Safety in Modern Conditions» in online format. More than 92 abstracts of reports were submitted to the conference, with the number of participants – 190. Most of the reports were devoted to life safety during war and military operations. November 15-16, 2023 at the National Military University named after Vasyl Levskyi (Bulgaria) the international scientific conference “Radiation safety in the modern world” was held. The 2023 conference was timed to mark the 120th anniversary of the awarding of the Nobel Prize to him for the discovery of natural radioactivity, as well as the famous scientists, Nobel Prize laureates Marie and Pierre Curie.
On June 10, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the event “Science that saves” (eco-friendly STEM fair and master class), organized by the Central Admissions Committee of NTU “KhPI”, took place in Nikolsky shopping center. Among the 7 departments of our university, our department – “Occupational and environmental safety” took part in this event.
We congratulate the winners of the II stage of the annual international competition of student scientific works, which was held at the Kremenchug National University named after Mykhailo Ostrogradsky on June 1-3, 2023.
NTU “KhPI” with the assistance of the Kharkiv City Hall organized a scientific festival in the STEM style “Light that gives hope”, which is dedicated to the Day of Science and the International Day of Light. The event took place on May 21 at Nikolsky shopping center, offline for the first time during the war. About 2,000 people became guests, who were able to see a bright show of music, dance, experiments, laboratories, quizzes and master classes from various fields. All this was demonstrated by students, teachers and scientists of Kharkiv Polytechnic.
