ERASMUS+ KA1 internship news
Among the current news of the department today is the scientific internship of the student of the MIT-M623 group Elizaveta Sotnikova at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic), within the framework of the ERASMUS+ KA1 program, coordinated by the European Commission. As part of her internship, a student of our department studies several disciplines, including Course syllabus KTO/DP-2024 and Course syllabus KTO/EXK-2024. Training for student trainees is conducted in English. Also, as part of her internship, Elizaveta Sotnikova visited the university’s scientific laboratories from various directions and got acquainted with the work of a modern 3D metal printer. On October 10, 2024, Yaroslav Afanasiyovych Samborskyi, the deputy head of the Educational and methodological center of civil protection and life safety of Chernivtsi region, as part of the mandatory educational component “Safety of production processes and equipment”, gave a lecture to students of the MIT-621 and MIT-622c groups on the topic “Civil safety and technical safety of production processes”.
On September 30, 2024, as part of the “Fundamentals of engineering training” program (lecturer assoc. prof. Nataliia Yevtushenko), students of the MIT-624 group were given a lecture on the topic “Engineering competence and practical solutions in the field of occupational health and safety”, which was conducted by the director of the Safety Department and monitoring of LLC “Newton-Promservice” Serhii Mezentsev. During the speech S. Mezentsev drew attention to the importance of labor protection as a key element of safety at enterprises. He shared practical approaches to implementing effective measures to protect the health and life of workers.

During July and September 2024, the Department of Occupational and Environmental Safety held an entrance examination for admission to the master’s degree in the specialty 263 Civil Safety, educational and professional program “Occupational safety and health”. The professional entrance exam was held: July 22 and 28, and September 20 using remote technologies. In total, 13 applicants took part in the exam.
The training of students of the “Occupational Safety and Environmental Safety” department of NTU “KhPI” provides for the possibility of an internship for students of education under the international academic mobility program. So, to date, the student of the MIT-M623 group Elizaveta Sotnikova was invited to Erasmus Student Mobility and is undergoing a scientific internship at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia, Czech Republic, within the framework of the ERASMUS + KA1 program, coordinated by the European Commission.
Within the framework of the project on international academic mobility, namely, the semester academic exchange, the student of the MIT-622 group Lyashko Valeriya Serhiyivna was carried out an internship at the University named after Jan Dlugosha in Częstochowa (Poland) (UYAD) in the period from 03/01/2024 to 05/31/2024. This became possible thanks to the Cooperation Agreement between the University named after Jan Dlugosha in Częstochowa (Poland) (UYAD) and the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI”), within the framework of which the Annex to the Agreement
On August 30, Office 365 hosted a meeting of first-year students of specialty 263 “Civil security” educational program “Occupational safety and health” with representatives of the department. With the beginning of the academic year, the students were greeted by the head of the department professor S. Vambol, the curator of the academic group assoc. prof. O. Yanchyk guarantors of the educational and professional program (OPP) “Occupational safety and health” of the I and II educational levels, assoc. profs. I. Mezentseva and N. Yevtushenko, secretary of the department, assoc. prof. N. Tverdokhliebova.
The Department of Occupational and Environmental Safety held the annual state certification of bachelors. The examination commission was headed by the head of the department, doctor of technical sciences, professor S. Vambol. The commission also included professor V. Berezutskyi, assoc. prof. I. Mezentseva, assoc. prof. N. Yevtushenko and secretary N. Ilinska, who evaluated the knowledge of graduates – bachelors.
On June 7, 2024, a student of the MIT-M623 group, Yujun Liu (scientific supervisor, assoc. prof. Nataliia Yevtushenko) took part in the International competition of student research papers in the specialty 263 – Civil security, which was held on the basis of the Kremenchug National University named M. Ostrogradskyi (Section «Technogenic and Industrial Safety» / Section «Technogenic and Industrial Safety»).
