On December 1, the guarantors of educational programs of the SEMIT Department (Mikhail Godlevskyi, Olga Cherednichenko, Olena Nikulina, Yulia Litvinova) took part in the project from the Kharkiv IT cluster “Certification of IT disciplines”.
The project is aimed at creating a system of interaction between experts of IT companies and specialized IT departments of the Free Economic Zone. The project is focused on updating the content of relevant technical disciplines and validation of implemented changes in practice.
The event was opened by Serhiy Kvit, as the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education supports this project. He emphasized that the certification from Kharkiv IT Cluster will be taken into account when accrediting educational programs, and the certificates will be posted on the Agency’s website.
Maxim Pochebut, Vice President of the IT Association of Ukraine for Education, Chief Learning Officer at Sigma Software Group, said: “A quality program should be based on quality content, as well as teaching methods, practical tasks and cooperation with industry.”
He was supported by the rector of NTU “KhPI” Yevheniy Sokol, who consistently creates conditions in our free economic zone for effective cooperation between representatives of the IT industry and the university community.
Participation in such events is important for all stakeholders: lecturers who update the content of educational programs in accordance with the contemporary requirements of the IT industry, students who need to master the latest knowledge and employers who are interested in recruiting competent professionals.
