The Department of Hydraulic Machines named after G.F. Proskura of NTU “KhPI” actively develops international cooperation, participating in academic mobility programs and joint scientific projects. In 2024, the teachers of the department, in particular Professor Andriy Rogovyi and Associate Professor Ksenia Rezva, visited the National University of Science and Technology “Politechnica of Bucharest” (Romania) within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program. During the visit, they gave lectures to students on modern developments in the field of hydraulic machines, hydrokinetic turbines and vortex chamber superchargers.
The department also maintains long-term partnerships with leading scientific institutions, such as the Institute of Hydraulic Machines, Gdansk, Poland. Professor of this institute, Peter Lampart, is the scientific supervisor of the postgraduate students of the department. These ties contribute to the exchange of experience, joint research and advanced training of students and teachers.
In 2025, the head of the department, Professor Andriy Rogovyi, as part of the ERASMUS+ academic mobility program for teaching, visited the University of Rijeka (Croatia) and presented the main scientific areas of the department to students and teachers of the University of Rijeka. During interesting and fruitful meetings, further opportunities for international cooperation in the field of education and science were discussed, and joint events between the departments were planned to expand cooperation.
Thanks to active international activities, the department provides its students with opportunities to participate in international projects, internships and conferences, which contributes to their professional growth and integration into the global scientific community.
