The team of the Department of Occupational and Environment Safety (OandES) always tries to develop not only academic, but also creative abilities of students, to reveal the talents of young people, to expand their horizons, offering numerous opportunities for self-realization and an active and fulfilling life.
A system of student self-governance has been established at the ESI of MIT. The student self-government body “Student Alliance”, Trade union committee of students of NTU “KhPI”, various teams of the Palace of students of NTU “KhPI” work for students.
Students represent the department at numerous student conferences, Olympiads, competitions, write and publish their own articles, and are helped by a modern scientific and technical library.
The department of OandES encourages its students to lead a healthy and active lifestyle, which is ensured not only by students visiting the best educational and sports complex with two swimming pools among, but also by the participation of students in various sports events of the university.
Also for students there is a sports and health camp “Polytechnic” in the Kharkiv region.
