Final practical training for bachelor’s students

In accordance with the training curriculum for the 2025–2026 academic year, the final practical training for bachelor’s degree graduates majoring in 263 – Civil Security began on April 20, 2026. The internship is taking place at companies in the city of Kharkiv, where our graduates are applying their theoretical knowledge. Thus, as part of the comprehensive practical training program, our student Kateryna Reshetnyak, in accordance with the agreement between the University and the Production Division of the Kharkiv Passenger Car Depot – Passenger Branch of “Passenger Company” JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia,” is completing her internship as an occupational safety specialist.
From the very first days of practical training, Kateryna has demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge as a result of her studies.

Incidentally, based on her academic performance, Kateryna receives a scholarship from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; she has participated in All-Ukrainian competitions for student research papers and international scientific and practical conferences, winning top prizes; and, as part of an international academic mobility program, studied at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Tartu from September 1, 2025, to February 1, 2026, as a visiting student and completed the relevant preparatory courses.

Vitaliy Yuriyovych Fedortsov, Chief Engineer of the Passenger Car Depot Production Division at the Kharkiv – Passenger Branch of the “Passenger Company” subsidiary of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia,” spoke about the results of our graduate’s training in a video interview:

The internship at this company provides our graduate Kateryna Reshetnyak with valuable experience to reinforce her theoretical knowledge.

We would like to thank the internship coordinator at the company for their excellent organization and for providing practical assistance to our graduate, which will allow her not only to reinforce the theoretical knowledge she has acquired but also to gain the practical skills necessary for her future professional career. As a result of her internship, Kateryna was offered a position as an occupational safety specialist at the company.
