Participation of scientific and pedagogical staff of the department in MicroCAD-2025
On May 14, 2025, the annual international scientific conference «Information Technologies: Science, Engineering, Technology, Education, Health (MicroCAD-2025)» began its work.
Traditionally, our scientific and pedagogical workers took part in this event and presented their scientific achievements in Subsection 2.4 – Environmental technologies, occupational safety and health, which worked from 14:00 on May 15, 2025. The heads of the subsection were: professor Serhiy Oleksandrovych Vambol (Head of the Department of Occupational and Environment Safety) and associate professor Oleksiy Valeriyovych Shestopalov (Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Ecology). Teachers from the department of Occupational and Environmental Safety participated in a non-distance career guidance event with students of the educational institution “Lyceum Professional”!
Active career guidance work continues for applicants entering the 2025 specialty J4 “Occupational health and safety” educational program “Occupational health and safety”. In March 2025, assoc. prof. E. Yascheritsyn together with prof. L. Vaskovets and senior lec. L. Yashchenko conducted regular distance career guidance events with students of the Kharkiv Vocational College of Transport Technologies, students of Kharkiv Lyceum №90 and Poltava Polytechnic Lyceum. In Kharkiv Lyceum №126, the event was conducted by assoc. prof. E. Yascheritsyn together with prof. L. Vaskovets. 
Active career guidance work continues regarding the admission of applicants in 2025 to the J4 specialty “Occupational health and safety” educational program “Occupational health and safety”. In the second half of February 2025 assoc. prof. E. Yashcheritsyn together with prof. L. Vaskovets regular distance career guidance events were held with students of Kharkiv Lyceum №64, Kremenchug lyceum №4 (Poltava region). In secondary school I-III degrees №1 Horishni Plavni (Poltava region) and Berestyn lyceum №3 (Berestyn, Kharkiv region) in career guidance events, in addition to the teachers mentioned above, took an active part in sen. teach. Active career guidance work continues regarding the admission of applicants in 2025 to the J4 «Occupational health and safety» specialty of the «Occupational health and safety» educational program. In the first half of February 2025 associate professor E. Yashcheritsyn together with professor L. Vaskovets another remote career guidance event was held with students of the Kharkiv Mechanical and Technological College, students of the Kaniv Academic Lyceum «Harmony», Okhtyrka Secondary School № 2 and specialized comprehensive school of I-III levels № 4 Horishni Plavni.
Every year, NTU «KhPI» holds a scholarship contest for applicants to receive a named award for personal educational and scientific achievements among the student community. The best students of the department annually take part in competitive scholarship programs. Participation in scholarship competitions is a valuable experience that contributes to both the personal and professional development of students. Achievements and achievements of our students, created by daily hard work, provide teachers of the department with vitality and professional inspiration.
