European Educational Scientific Technological Center: Report for the first half of 2021
📍In 2021, despite the difficult conditions in international work due to the pandemic, the European Educational Scientific Technological Center actively established and developed cooperation between scientists from NTU “KhPI” and the Leibniz University of Hanover (Germany)🇩🇪. Negotiations of German scientists with representatives of the following departments of our university were successfully held:
• Department of “Technology of fats and fermentation products”;
• Department of Computer Modeling and Integrated Pressure Treatment Technologies;
• Department of General Electrical Engineering;
• Department of Internal Combustion Engines.
As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached on cooperation in promising research areas and on the intention to jointly submit applications for future 🇪🇺European projects.
Such online meetings contribute to the deepening of international scientific cooperation, which in turn brings NTU “KhPI” and science in Ukraine closer to integration into the European Research Area.
📍With the support of our center, a student of NTU “KhPI” successfully applied and participated in the “Summer School 2021” of the University of Viadrina (Frankfurt-on-Oder, Germany)🇩🇪 where she took a course “Introduction to optimization systems.” At the end of the online course, the student successfully passed the exam.
Participation in international programs helps students and graduate students to achieve a high level of professional knowledge and gain valuable experience that will be important for career development.
Therefore, we encourage graduate students, students, scientists to follow the latest information on our website (http://web.kpi.kharkov.ua/eestc/) and on the Facebook page and be active in submitting applications for participation in international programs.
📍A representative of the Department of General Electrical Engineering received a grant to conduct research at Comenius University (Bratislava, Slovakia)🇸🇰 at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics.
Teamwork with European partners using modern equipment will provide an opportunity to achieve new scientific results that will form the basis of joint projects and publications.
📍Active work is underway to develop scientific cooperation with the Technical University of Dresden (Germany) and other European universities in promising research areas.
