This time, the inquisitive assistant professor of the department of BP and NS Movmyga N.Y. visited the Electro-Radio Technical Lyceum in Poltava. Students study in it on a face-to-face basis. After the meeting with the management, the teacher met with the students studying there. During the meeting, students received all the necessary answers regarding admission to specialty 263 “Civil Security”, learned about Hard and Soft Skills of the “Occupational safety and health” educational program and received advertising materials.

Our department continues career guidance activities in 2023/2024. This time the assistant professor of the department Movmyga N.Y. met with the deputy director for educational work of the separate structural unit “Poltava Polytechnic Vocational College of NTU “KhPI” I.M. Postavny and a specialist of the Distance Learning Center regarding the online meeting of our department’s career guidance event. Since the students study remotely, the meeting with them was also held remotely.

Career orientation work during the autumn holidays

During the autumn vacation from October 23 to 28, 2023, assoc. prof. Yascheritsin E.V. vocational orientation work was carried out with students of the graduating classes of Kharkiv lyceum №43, located on the st. Saltivske shosse, 121/2 and students of Kharkiv gymnasium №101, located on st. Krasnodarska, 147/2 and their parents.

Given that most of them are under evacuation, the work was carried out using remote multimedia technologies, including the Zoom platform.

Career orientation work at Kharkiv Lyceum №74

In the period from September 25 to 29, 2023, assoc. professor E.V. Yashcheritsyn vocational orientation work was conducted among the students of the graduating classes of Kharkiv Lyceum № 74 and their parents regarding admission to the specialty 263 “Civil Security” educational level “bachelor” and obtaining a second higher education at the “master’s” level.

Considering that most of them were evacuated, the work was carried out using remote technologies.

“Science that saves” (eco-friendly STEM fair and master class)

On June 10, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the event “Science that saves” (eco-friendly STEM fair and master class), organized by the Central Admissions Committee of NTU “KhPI”, took place in Nikolsky shopping center. Among the 7 departments of our university, our department – “Occupational and environmental safety” took part in this event.

This event provided an opportunity for future applicants to have direct contact with representatives of departments.

21.05.2023 – “Light that gives hope”

NTU “KhPI” with the assistance of the Kharkiv City Hall organized a scientific festival in the STEM style “Light that gives hope”, which is dedicated to the Day of Science and the International Day of Light. The event took place on May 21 at Nikolsky shopping center, offline for the first time during the war. About 2,000 people became guests, who were able to see a bright show of music, dance, experiments, laboratories, quizzes and master classes from various fields. All this was demonstrated by students, teachers and scientists of Kharkiv Polytechnic.

The department of “Occupational and Environmental Safety” department also took part in this event and introduced future applicants to the educational program 263.01 “Occupational safety and health” specialty 263 “Civil Security”.
