40 Kahoot quizzes under the slogan “Winter Kahutiada” were held live on the Telegram channel from January 8 to 12, 2024 for potential applicants and future students of NTU “KhPI” as part of the educational and entertainment event “Vacation with Polytech”.
The topic of our Kahoot quiz is “The wonderful world of microclimate: from winter to…”, and it was held in online format on January 9, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. by Mezentseva Irina, associate professor of the department.
It should be noted that the players are interested in this topic. At the beginning of the Kahoot quiz, 70 people were registered, and later, 39 participants from different parts of the country under very different nicknames actively competed.
These events have already become traditional, so the audience of participants grows every time, especially since the questions in this Kahoot quiz are quite interesting and help to develop general erudition on the proposed topics.
Associate professor Kuzmenko Elena took an active part in preparing questions for this Kahoot quiz, and interesting questions were prepared by assoc. professors Mezentseva Irina and Yascheritsin Evgen and assistant Osmanova Olga. Quiz questions were related to microclimate and cold at the same time. Some questions turned out to be non-trivial for the participants, such as the following question: “What is the lower limit of the temperature of the existence of protein bodies?”
There were also questions that made it possible to learn about the invention of devices that can be used to measure microclimate parameters. And many other interesting questions, which the players answered with pleasure.
For the diligence and perseverance of the players of the Kahoot quiz, the staff of the OandHS department decided to personally award their winners with valuable gifts that are directly related to the topic of the quiz “The amazing world of microclimate: from winter to …”.
The winners of the Kahoot quiz were Vergunova Veronika, a student of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 112, Shakhvali Diana, a student of Kharkiv School No. 167, who, by the way, became the absolute winner in the Winter Kahutiada with Polytech, and Fedorov Denys, a student of the Communal Institution “Kharkiv Scientific Lyceum “Gift” Kharkiv Regional Council. Yulia Teslyuk, a student of Odesa Lyceum No. 122, and Soroka Oleksandra, a student of the Ukrainian Physics and Mathematics Lyceum (Kyiv) took 4th and 5th places, respectively, and were also awarded with gifts.
In addition to the online format of the event, a link to the Kahoot quiz “Wonderful world of microclimate: from winter to…” was provided in the “Vacations with Polytech” group for independent completion. So far, 25 participants have passed the quiz on their own. The term of participation is not limited, so those who wish can join this interesting event and try their hand at it.
