On December 2, 2023, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport of NTU “KhPI” held an offline Day off from MIT for applicants. The visitors got acquainted with the presented presentations of the educational programs of the Institute of MIT and actively communicated with representatives of 14 graduation departments. The management conducted a very interesting interactive introduction of the entrants to the areas of preparation of the NNI MIT NTU “KhPI” in the game Kahoot format with gifts, winners and souvenirs for the participants.
The Department of Occupational and Environmental Safety also took part in this event. Scientific and pedagogical workers prepared presentation materials, devices for visual demonstration, campaign advertising brochures. Ass. prof. Mezentseva I. dealt directly with the questions of the Kahoot quiz in which schoolchildren participated, while presentations and advertising were handled by ass. prof. Semenov E.Entrants were told about the prospects of specialty 263 “Civil Security” educational program “Occupational safety and health”, opportunities for internships, studies and obtaining a double diploma at foreign higher education institutions. Employment prospects and possible positions after training were also discussed.
It should be noted that future entrants were interested in the possibility of working with devices, which was demonstrated by our employees. Using the example of the bomb shelter in which the event was held, ass. prof. Yascheritsin E. the determination of room parameters was demonstrated, such as: noise level index – 60…75 dBA, illumination level at different points – 20…80 lux, temperature ranging from 17 to 19 ОС at different points, humidity – 50%, air movement speed less than 0.1 m/s and others. These parameters of the premises satisfied the conditions of the event.
We really hope that the meaningful report about our specialty, the sincere interest and interest of students and graduates of technical schools will give results in the future admissions company.
