Warm memories of his student years were shared at a meeting held on 04/28/2024 with applicants and students of the SAIT department by a graduate of 2003 and currently the chief architect of ServiceNow solutions at ELIN.Software (USA) Andrii Pishchulin.
Mr. Andrii emphasized the importance of fundamental education, a systematic approach and readiness to solve complex tasks for the development of a successful career. It was useful and informative to learn the opinion of an experienced specialist about the trends in the development of the IT industry, about the skills that modern programmers will need. They also talked about the differences in the IT industry of Ukraine and the USA, the peculiarities of career development in America, the sufficiently high level of education of Ukrainian programmers, etc. The students asked Mr. Andrii the questions that they are currently concerned about, the most important knowledge and skills for an IT worker, difficulties on the way to finding a first job, features of an internship, and much more.
It is very pleasant that the informal meeting turned into a perspective of cooperation and an invitation to a practicing professional to hold several lectures for students of the department. Mr. Andriy gladly agreed to share his knowledge and experience.
