On August 12, 2026, Kharkiv hosted a special event dedicated to Youth Day and aimed at supporting active young people and members of the youth community who study, work, and contribute to the development of the city.
The Department of Software Engineering and Intelligent Management Technologies at NTU “KhPI” was represented by:
- Oleksii Bezus, group KN-425e;
- Bohdan Bielashov, group KN-225s.e.
The programme included an official awards ceremony recognizing active young people of Kharkiv, as well as a cultural programme.
The event was initiated by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and organized by the Department for Family and Youth Affairs of the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv City Council jointly with the Kharkiv City Youth Leisure Center.
The event was supported by the NGO “Potribni Tut” in cooperation with UNICEF and with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the German Development Bank (KfW).
