On May 16, during the Day of Science, the session of Subsection 9.1 “Information and Control Systems” was held within the framework of the XXXIV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Technologies: Science, Engineering, Technology, Education, Health” (MicroCAD–2026).
The subsection was chaired by Professor Ihor Hamaiun, Professor of the A.V. Dabagyan Department of Software Engineering and Intelligent Management Technologies at NTU “KhPI”. The subsection secretary was Associate Professor Iryna Liutenko from the same department.
More than 160 scientific presentations were delivered during the subsection session by researchers, academic staff, PhD students, and students from Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, and other cities of Ukraine.
The research topics covered modern areas of information technology development, including artificial intelligence and large language models, web and mobile information systems, cybersecurity, machine learning, computer vision, recommendation systems, IoT, blockchain, distributed systems, as well as solutions for EdTech, smart infrastructure, and digital healthcare.
Special attention was devoted to the practical application of AI technologies, intelligent process automation, modern software system architectures, and data analysis approaches.
The department expresses gratitude to all participants for active scientific discussions, relevant research contributions, and support for the development of modern information technologies.
