On April 13, a ceremony was held in Kharkiv to mark Ukraine’s Space Industry Workers’ Day—a professional holiday celebrating those who are shaping the future of high technology and space exploration.
During the event, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov congratulated leading industry experts and presented them with honorary awards for their significant contributions to the development of science and technology.
It is particularly gratifying to note that among the honorees is Valerii Uspenskyi, a professor in the Department of Computer Modeling of Processes and Systems, whose scientific work represents a significant contribution to the development of navigation systems and the control of moving objects.
This award confirms the high level of scientific research conducted at the department and the importance of training specialists for Ukraine’s rocket and space industry.
