A modern trend in the development of higher education in Ukraine is a transition from narrow specialties, focused on specific areas of employment for graduates, to broad integrated specialties that provide opportunities for effective work in various fields of science, industry, and business. Among such integrated specialties are those of the department, which combine longstanding traditions of training highly qualified applied mathematicians with the latest trends in education in the field of computer information technologies.
