Training in a specialty

Education in the educational and scientific program in applied mathematics is based on student-centered, research- and problem-oriented approaches that integrate education, science and innovative activity. The educational process combines lectures, practical and laboratory classes with individual and independent work, implementation of research and software projects using modern ICT and mathematical modeling tools.

The structure of the program includes an educational component (mandatory and optional components formed in accordance with the scientific directions of the departments) and a continuous scientific component, which involves conducting research, publishing and approving the results at conferences. Evaluation is carried out through current and final control, presentations, defenses of reports and dissertations.

Syllabus of disciplines and study plans of the current year and their Archive are available on the website of postgraduate and doctoral programs of NTU “KhPI”.
