Modern training in a technical higher educational institution requires students to master a large block of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Improving the quality of education largely depends on the students’ motivation and the use of innovative forms of learning in education. Student scientific clubs allow students not only to improve the quality of professional knowledge, but also to choose a further specialization, contribute to the development of research skills, increase the activity and sense of responsibility of students, and give them experience in organizational and publishing activities. Participants in student scientific circles can later choose to become scientists or teachers, which helps support the staff of higher education institutions.
The supervisors of the student scientific clubs at the Department of SAIT argue that their main motivation is to provide practical skills, deepen theoretical knowledge, and engage talented students in research work.
Students emphasize the positive significance of participating in olympiads and conferences, which require them to study the subject in greater depth and develop the ability to work in teams.
