The team of the Department of Ukrainian Studies, Cultural Studies and History of Science, consisting of the Head of the Department O. Tverytnykova, Associate Professor M. Gutnyk, Associate Professor V. Malikov, graduate students S. Rugalenko, V. Khikhlo, P. Makarenko, participated in the scientific project “Open Educational Resources with Ukraine” with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service, DAAD.
In addition to NTU ‘KhPI’, the project involved representatives of Leibniz University of Hannover (LUH), TIB (Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology) and the following Ukrainian universities: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv; Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, Dnipro; Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics; National Aerospace University ‘Kharkiv Aviation Institute’; Lviv Polytechnic National University.
To date, the project has produced more than 290 educational videos in English and/or Ukrainian, which provide additional new opportunities for learning and teaching, especially in times of war. All videos are available on the international scientific video portal TIB AV-Portal. The department team created 13 educational videos on the history of science and technology, the history of Ukrainian culture, and the history of Ukrainian science and technology.
