On 21 May 2025, two postgraduate students of our Department of Ukrainian Studies, Cultural Studies and History of Science of NTU ‘KhPI’ successfully defended their dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the speciality 032 – History and Archeology.
Yuliia Valeriivna Bilas presented for defence her dissertation research on ‘Life path, creative work and public activity of S. V. Pylypenko (1891-1934)’, supervisors: Doctor of History, Professor Volodymyr Mykolaiovych Skliar and Candidate of History, Associate Professor Ihor Volodymyrovych Dvorkin, Chairman of the Specialised Academic Council: Doctor of History, Professor Olena Yevhenivna Tveritynykova.
Yulia Koval presented her dissertation research on ‘Scientific, educational, organisational and public activity of the academician of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR M. P. Barabashov’, supervisor: Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Olena Yevhenivna Tveritynykova, chairman of the one-time specialised academic council: Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Ihor Yuriiovych Robak.
