On 1 and 10 December 2025, Vasyl Malikov, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies, Cultural Studies and History of Science at NTU ‘KhPI’, held educational events dedicated to World AIDS Day for senior pupils of Kharkiv schools No. 38 and No. 61. The first event was held in person in a shelter, while the second was held online. During these educational events, Vasyl Malikov touched upon the history of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and efforts to combat it, as well as the history of World AIDS Day. Students had the opportunity to test their knowledge of HIV prevention in an interactive format and learn about new achievements in this field by participating in a Kahoot quiz. Associate Professor V. V. Malikov received thanks from the administration of these two schools for holding the events.
