A computer engineer is a specialist in computer networks and technology. Computer engineers typically have training in electrical engineering, software, and hardware and software integration. Computer engineers deal with many aspects of computing: from the design of individual microprocessors, computers and supercomputers to circular design. Typically, computer engineering tasks include writing programs and firmware for embedded microcontrollers, designing ultra-large integrated circuits, analog sensors, mixed signal boards, and developing operating systems.
