We are excited to invite you to participate in an upcoming activity as part of the Ukraine Digital Project. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate and develop impactful case studies tailored for Virtual Collaborative Learning (VCL), supporting Ukrainian educators in strengthening academic resilience and promoting intercultural exchange through scenario-based teaching methods. This activity is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and implemented by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to “ensure academic success in times of crisis.”
Mission:
The mission is to establish a shared understanding of effective case study design principles within the VCL framework. Over three workshops, you will create a case study relevant to your field, enhancing both your professional skills and student engagement. This series aims to empower you and other educators to design meaningful case studies. You’ll gain access to training materials and templates, allowing you to replicate and expand these workshops within your institution.
Expected Outcomes:
• Training Materials in OER Format: Ready for adaptation and broad use.
• Comprehensive Case Study Design: Including six weeks of structured tasks for online collaboration and a compelling Cover Story to immerse students in the learning experience.
