On August 30, Office 365 hosted a meeting of first-year students of specialty 263 “Civil security” educational program “Occupational safety and health” with representatives of the department. With the beginning of the academic year, the students were greeted by the head of the department professor S. Vambol, the curator of the academic group assoc. prof. O. Yanchyk guarantors of the educational and professional program (OPP) “Occupational safety and health of the I and II educational levels, assoc. profs. I. Mezentseva and N. Yevtushenko, secretary of the department, assoc. prof. N. Tverdokhliebova. The welcoming words were accompanied by wishes for an exciting student life, interesting studies, unforgettable discoveries and events! Students shared their positive impressions of getting to know the university and received answers to questions about the organization of the educational process. Have a good time, our dear freshmen!
On the same day, the first meeting of the department in this academic year was held, where the results of educational, methodical, scientific and organizational work for 2023/2024 were summarized. Assoc. prof. E. Yascheritsin reported on the results of the annual career guidance work of the department’s teachers, which is still ongoing. The report of the guarantors of the OPP of the 1st and 2nd educational levels, was heard. assoc. profs. N. Yevtushenko and I. Mezentseva regarding the updating of educational professional programs and curricula. The head of the department is prof. S. Wambol outlined the list of tasks of the department for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The staff of the department congratulated the department’s professors Valentyna Raiko and Oleksandr Dreval on their well-deserved rest.
