Successes of our winners and their supervisors in competitions of student scientific works

Student science has always been one of the most powerful foundations for the formation of applicants as qualified specialists. Immersing in scientific experiments, students acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the topic of their research. In this they are helped by their academic supervisors of our department. A strong team of our scientific and pedagogical workers performed such work this year as well. It should be said that the scientific works presented by students for competitions are achievements not only of this academic year. The scientific-methodical approach to working with students was initiated by prof. V. Berezutsky, and the institute of tutors built at the Department of Occupational and environmental safety has been producing positive results for many years.
And this year, students of our department, under the guidance of tutors and their supervisors, took part in scientific competitions of various levels, namely: International competition of student scientific works «Black Sea Science 2024», All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works (1st round): National Technical University «KhPI» and State Biotechnological University.
At the international competition «Black Sea Science 2024», which took place during March, the BPtaNS department was represented by 4 works of our students Yelvira Akimova, Yuliya Denisenko (MIT-622s), Yujun Liu (MIT-M623ie) under the guidance of assoc. prof. I. Mezentseva, Kuzmenko O., Semenov E. and Ph.D. Yashchenko L.
The work received the 2nd prize «Alternative energy. The experience of Poland and its acceptability for Ukraine», authors: Oleksiy Martynenko, (supervisors: assoc. prof. Mezentseva I.).

It should be said that the competition jury rated the level of the presented works quite highly and awarded all participants and managers with name certificates.

Our students also took part in the 1st stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works held at the State Biotechnological University. According to the fields of knowledge, specialties (specializations) Civil security (Occupational safety and health), Civil security (Civil protection), Technogenic safety, the department was represented by 3 student scientific works under the leadership of our employees S. Vambol, I. Mezentseva, O. Kuzmenko. All three works of our students won prizes. According to the order of DBTU №01-01/156 dated 04/12/2024, students received the respective winners’ diplomas, and employees received thanks.

We also have strong results in our native Polytechnic. We have 15 prize places out of the five areas in which the competitive works of our students participated. The name of the fields of knowledge, specialties (specializations) from which the students took part fully corresponds to the profile of the department: Civil security (Occupational safety and health), Civil safety (Life safety), Civil security (Civil protection), Technogenic safety, Fire safety.
The supervisors of scientific works are all employees of our department: assoc. prof. Yevtushenko N., Semenov E., Gurenko I., Bukatenko N., Yashcheritsyn E., Yanchyk O., Tverdokhlebova N., Maksimenko O., Movmyga N., Pancheva H., sen. teach. Yashchenko L. and Tolstousova O., and ass. Osmanova O.
Order №552ST of NTU «KhPI» dated 04.13.2024 awarded the winners. All our 30 students received the respective diplomas of the winner of the 1st round of the All-Ukrainian competition.

The scientific achievements of our department, the desire and dedicated work of our students and their leaders made it possible to obtain such results. Competitions of scientific papers of various levels are still ongoing and we hope for the same good results at the International competition of student scientific papers in individual specialties, which will be held at Mykhailo Ostrogradsky National University of Kremenchug.

We sincerely congratulate our students and their leaders on success!
We wish you the same good results in the next one!
