On December 20, representatives of the SEMIT Department of NTU “KhPI” held a live broadcast and Kahoot-quiz for applicants to introduce them to IT professions, the department and the university.
Applicants learned about the features and competitive advantages of the department’s educational programs:
121 Software Engineering;
122 Computer Sciences and Intelligent Systems;
and also tested their knowledge of the main IT professions: Project Manager, Business Analyst, Front-end Developer, Back-end Developer, Mobile Developer, Data Scientist, Software Tester, and DevOps. The winner of the Kahoot quiz received a Digital prize – a 6-month premium subscription to YouTube and YouTube Music!
In total, the event was attended by about 30 participants – 11th grade students and college graduates from different parts of Ukraine.
The event was attended by associate professors of the educational program “Computer Science and Intelligent Systems” of the bachelor’s level Andrii Kopp and the guarantor of the educational program “Software Engineering” of the bachelor’s level Yuliia Litvinova.
In addition, the meeting was joined by a special guest – 4th year student Polina Balazhy, who told the applicants about the international opportunities offered by the department.
This semester, Polina is studying at the University of Klagenfurt (Austria) under the Erasmus+ program, so she shared information on how to get into the program and what benefits it gives to future IT specialists!
